Choose from two approximate sizes: Regular pieces are 4–6 inches and use one ticket; Large pieces are 6–10 inches and use two tickets.
2Build the color palette
Choose colors you want, blend them to create the perfect shade, and use as much paint as needed with a selection of different-sized brushes.
3Bring it to life
Paint at your own pace, building color in layers until the piece looks the way you want.
4Make it shine
Once the paint has fully dried, you can add an optional quick-drying gloss finish for extra shine and take the piece home during the same visit.

Our pottery painting experience uses ready-made ceramic figurines and acrylic paints. You choose and decorate a piece; you do not shape clay on a wheel. There is no kiln firing or later pickup.
How does ceramic painting work?
Choose a ceramic piece from the current studio collection, select your colors, paint the details, allow the paint to settle, and take the finished piece home.
What ceramic pieces can I choose from?
The current selection may include animals, characters, decorative pieces, and other dimensional forms. Available pieces vary by studio and visit.
Does the ceramic need to be fired in a kiln?
No. Funtastik Labs does not kiln-fire the ceramics, so the painted piece can go home during the same visit.
Are the painting supplies provided?
Yes. The studio provides the paints, brushes, workspace, and materials needed for the selected ceramic piece.
What ages can paint ceramics?
The current ceramic painting experience is suitable for ages 3 and up, including children, teens, and adults.
How long does ceramic painting take?
Everyday ceramic painting typically takes about 30–45 minutes. Parties, group visits, and field trips follow the timing for their selected format.
Can I take the ceramic home the same day?
Yes. After the paint settles, the finished piece goes home with you during the same visit.
