Pottery painting with friends
A celebration full of personal touches.
Painting becomes the party entertainment, and the finished figurine becomes a reminder of the day. Your host prepares the materials and guides the group.
Choose a ceramic piece.
Start with a ready-made figurine from the studio’s current party selection. Available pieces vary by studio and visit.
Make the colors yours.
Build a personal palette, paint the piece, and add finishing details. Guests share the painting experience while making their own colorful keepsakes.
Take the memory home.
After the acrylic paint dries, each guest takes their painted ceramic home during the same visit. There is no kiln wait or later pickup.

Ceramic painting party questions.
Plan the painting, the celebration, and the studio visit.
Ask a studioWhat do guests make at a ceramic painting birthday party?
Guests choose a ready-made ceramic piece from the current party selection, build a personal color palette, and paint the piece with acrylic colors. They take their painted ceramic home during the same visit.
Is this a pottery painting party or a pottery wheel class?
Our pottery painting parties focus on decorating ready-made ceramic figurines. Guests do not shape clay on a pottery wheel. We use acrylic paints, with no kiln firing or later pickup.
How long is a ceramic painting birthday party?
Party length depends on the package you choose, with time for the selected experiences, food, and cake. Compare current party lengths and options on your studio’s birthday page.
Can we combine ceramic painting and slime in one birthday party?
Yes. Choose a two- or three-experience birthday package and select Ceramic Painting and Slime Bar as part of the group’s plan. Review your studio’s available choices when booking.
Do we bring painting supplies, food, or decorations?
We provide the materials, aprons to wear while creating, and a dedicated party host, and handle experience setup and cleanup. You may bring food and cake or arrange delivery. Bring permitted decorations, and use studio-supplied tape for lightweight wall decor; check your studio’s party page for arrival and setup details.
