About Funtastik Labs
Creativity is more fun together.
Funtastik Labs creates guided experiences where guests mix slime, run science experiments, paint canvases or ceramics, and make bath bombs together.
Our story
It started with a place to participate.
Funtastik Labs was founded by Roli Sangal, a parent and entrepreneur who wanted to create a place where people could actively make, mix, paint, and experiment instead of simply watching from the sidelines.
Today, Funtastik Labs operates two Greater Houston studios in Katy and Sugar Land for everyday tickets, birthdays, field trips, and organized group visits.
Families, friends, classmates, scouts, community groups, and teams can choose a visit format, then make projects or experiment together with materials and guidance prepared by the studio team.
Our mission
Make creativity, bonding, exploration, and fun easy to share.
We create welcoming, participatory experiences where guests try an idea, make available creative choices, and enjoy time together. We prepare the space and materials; guests bring their curiosity and personality.
What guides us
Four values shape every experience.
They influence the spaces we prepare, the experiences we develop, and the way our team welcomes every guest.
Creativity
Creativity has no right or wrong answer. We offer choices and encourage guests to follow their own ideas, so every creation reflects the person making it.
Bonding
Making side by side gives people an experience to talk about, compare, and enjoy together.
Exploration
Exploration is about asking “what if?”, trying something unfamiliar, and discovering what happens next—not being graded on the outcome.
Fun
Fun is not an afterthought. It is the energy that helps people relax, participate, connect, and want to keep exploring.
How we bring it to life
Prepared for guided creative play.
Our team prepares the environment, materials, and instructions and offers guidance throughout the experience. Guests personalize the choices available within the experience selected for their visit.
- Prepared spaces and instructions. We organize the materials and explain the process before guests begin.
- There is no right or wrong answer. Creativity and exploration are about trying ideas, not meeting a single standard.
- Personal choices within the experience. Guests choose from available colors and details after the visit organizer selects the experience.
- Encouragement, never evaluation. Our team supports the process without critiquing, scoring, or comparing results.
- One group, individual results. A group can share one guided format while participants personalize the choices available to them.
Who we are here for
Different ages. Different reasons. Same invitation to participate.
Families, friends, classmates, and coworkers can make something side by side. No one needs to arrive as an artist or scientist; a team member guides the selected experience.

Our studios are rooted in Greater Houston and built to make creative time together feel welcoming, colorful, and genuinely fun.
Our community commitment
We love being part of—and supporting—our community.
Our studios give families, friends, neighbors, classmates, and teams a place to socialize while doing something creative together. We also support local schools through guided field trips and fundraising options that help school communities gather, create, and raise funds.
